My role has always been to sit between the Ad Sales and Editorial teams at major media companies, which required having a bird's-eye view of both teams' opposing priorities.
That perspective gave me deep insight into the complexities of monetizing content across all media formats and an instinctual understanding of these customers' needs, whether that was brand marketers and their agencies, evolving sales organizations, content creators, showrunners and writers, and, of course, consumers.
The newest buzzword in tech is what I did every day:
I told B2B stories through pitch decks to media agencies and brand marketers about why my company had the premium environment and audience insights to ensure their ad creative reached the right customers at the right time.
I wrote B2C stories through bespoke branded content that blended a client's brief with the voices of top talent and creators.
And lastly, the stories I told internally to cross-functional teams through revenue analyses to convince them to think differently about which surfaces and when a brand should show up on the platform.

I decided to pursue my MBA at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania because I saw major shifts in the industry that I wanted to understand better from a business standpoint, and to pivot to a role where I could shape the future of media through technology. I graduated in May 2026 with a double major in AI for Business and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
As a stepping stone towards this goal, I worked at Amazon as a Senior Product Management Summer Intern on the retail team to gain exposure to working with technical teams and what operational excellence looks like outside of the media industry.
I began throwing on the wheel in January of 2021, and since then have sold my work at multiple markets and on my Etsy. Unlike a tech product, scale isn't the goal in ceramics, but I have enjoyed testing creative tools to help promote myself on IG @studiobex__

In search of a musical outlet, I learned how to DJ while I was working at Spotify. Since then, I've played ~15 gigs while living in Philadelphia for business school, primarily focused on house and hip-hop music.

One of my greatest skills is taking a lot of noisy information and distilling it into a clear and compelling visual narrative. I launched RR Creative Services to provide presentation design support for founders pitching their company to investors.
